Community Parade: Departs from Bleachingfield Centre, 12 noon

 Meet from 11.30am onwards. Join the annual Community Parade from Bleachingfield Centre to Lauderdale Park led by the Dunbar Royal British Legion Pipe Band. All ages and everyone welcome!

Civic Queen Crowning Ceremony: Lauderdale Park, 12.30pm approximately

Fun Day at Lauderdale Park, 1-4pm: Free, but donations welcome. The Civic Week Queen will open the afternoon of fun starting with the Civic Week Fun Run from Lauderdale Park. There will be dancing displays, a showcase of musical talent from Dunbar Grammar School and ELJam East Lothian Youth Music Forum. Try your hand at target bowls, your feet at Beat-the-Goalie and see if you can juggle in our juggling workshops. There will be an Enjoy-a-Ball session, face painters, glitter tattoo artists, storyteller tent, a magician and balloon modeller. Join in our Singalong with Dementia Friendly Dunbar. New for 2018 – come and get your picture taken at our Photobooth. There will be food stalls, a pop-up beer tent and Fizz bar for the grown-ups, community stalls, Radio Saltire and lots more.

Victorian Portrait Studio @ McArthur’s Stores, Victoria Street 12pm – 5pm
An informal, engaging and free Victorian photographic portrait session with local artist Alastair Cook – drop in on the 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th June and have your portrait made or have a looksee at how it used to be done!
